We are excited to announce the addition of ITFlow as an External Ticketing System in CheckCentral. Once configured, CheckCentral will automatically open tickets in ITFlow for failed Checks. It will keep the tickets up to date with notes for subsequent warnings and failures and will automatically close the ticket when the Check reverts to success.
To configure ITFlow as an External Ticketing System:
  • Login to CheckCentral and navigate to your Dashboard.
  • On the top menu, click Notifications > External Ticketing Systems.
  • Click "Add Ticketing System" and choose ITFlow.
  • Follow the instructions in the ITFlow dialog to configure the integration.
  • Be sure to click the "Manage" button next to "Checks and Default Groups" in the ITFlow configuration to choose which Checks the ITFlow integration should be enabled for.

We're very happy to announce that a long awaited feature, notification and ticketing content customization, is now available in CheckCentral!
To customize the notification content for personal notifications (emails, etc), look for the "Edit Notification Format" button:

To customize the notification content for organization notification channels, or external ticketing systems, edit the channel/ticketing system and click the "Edit" button next to "Notification Format":

Once you've got the edit window open, you can add or edit static text, as well as add or remove variables that will populate with the information from the check and activity that generated the notification:

Hi,

I'd like to request the ability to pause a CheckCentral check for a defined period, with it automatically resuming at a specified date and time.

A common example for us is monitoring workstation backups. If a customer goes on holiday for a week and their PC is switched off, the check will naturally become overdue even though there isn't actually a problem.

At the moment I can manually pause the check, which solves the false alert, but I then have to remember to manually resume it when the customer returns.

It would be really useful if the Pause option included something like:

Pause until:
[Date] [Time]

Reason:
Customer on holiday

The check would remain paused until that date/time and then automatically resume its normal monitoring schedule.

Ideally there could also be options such as:

- Pause indefinitely
- Pause until a specified date/time
- Resume manually

For MSPs managing a large number of checks, I think this would be particularly useful. The risk with manually pausing checks is that somebody forgets to resume one, potentially leaving an important backup unmonitored.

I will try to send it again. The issue is that you have an ignore rule that's ignoring that email subject. You can find it in Organization > Ignore Rules at the top of the dashboard.

I have several checks where e.g. a Synology NAS sends a Mail for HyperBackup or Snapshot Replication State to a mail address from us. In Outlook web, we then have forwarding rules configured, that forward some of these mails to CheckCentral. I have now an Issue with only one check, which worked previously.
We receive the mail from NAS, the rule gets processed, but the mail is not processed by the Check or received by CheckCentral at all. I don't see the mail in the Activities.
What I tried:
- Checked Message Trace in M365: The mail leaves the tenant. If I add my private mail as a recipient in the same Rule, i receive the forwarded message.
- Created a whole new check with a new checkcentral alias several times - still not working.
- Forwarded the mail manually to the exact same CheckCentral mail address as in the forwarding rule - then it works and the message is assigned to the correct check.
- Created several new forwarding rules - same effect.
- Created a ticket, but either did not receive a response or it got lost somewhere too.

Do you have an Idea what could be the case?
