Altaro's notification system is definitely weird. I wish there was an option to ungroup the emails too! What we usually recommend is to go fully grouped in Altaro, and then parse the email with a single CheckCentral check.

In Altaro, I enable the "Queue email notifications and send as a daily email" option. That will force it to wait until the time I've set, and send them all in one email.

I then have the check set to default to failed, and I set the Success and Warning Criteria like so:

Success Criteria (must match all):
Body Text Complex Match:

Successful -Failed

Subject Complex Match:

Successful -Failed

Warning Criteria (may match any):
Body Text Complex Match:

Warning -Failed

Body Text Complex Match:

ALTERR_ -Failed

What that will do is have the check flagged as success or warning, unless the word "failed" is somewhere in the email, then it will end up showing as failed.

Hopefully that helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

Hi,
Sometimes Altaro will send 1 notification for multiple jobs. If schedules are close together and/or jobs end around the same time, Altaro will send 1 e-mail instead of seperate e-mails per job. If that happens the mail can not be matched to 1 rule, it stays unassigned because of "matched to multiple rules". Is there a workaround for this? Or is it possible to match 1 e-mail message for multiple jobs? I cannot find a way in Altaro te prevent it from grouping emails.

Thanks in advance.
