Different notifications sent to the same CheckCentral address.

Hey all!

Synology boxes can only use one notification address. Since I have several back-up tasks that I would like to monitor separately, I wonder if there is a way to split them up using the rules? If there's not, what's the advised way to handle this?

There should be! Do the different jobs have different text in the email subject and/or body text? e.g. do they have a job name, or some other unique text for each job?

Yes, the subject is unique. I thought that you need a unique receiving address on the CC side per check; that's not the case?

Nope! You can send them to the base email address for your org, and then specify the unique subject text in the Match Conditions section. If you run into any trouble setting that up, please send us a request at the page below, just to avoid posting any private information in the discussions forums
